Machining & Cutting
Use less lube to produce better parts
No more flooding lubricants onto your machining and cutting tools. Now you can prevent friction from forming by precisely metering and dispensing liquid lubricants at the tool/part interface. Your equipment will run cooler, last longer and produce more good parts per shift when you put UNIST's patented lubrication technologies to work in your shop.

Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) [visit page] — Our Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) technology (or Near-Dry Machining/NDM) has revolutionized how machining operations are cutting costs, improving their product quality and being environmentally responsible. read more
Continuous external spray lubrication [visit page] — A pulse generator regulates the continuous spray of minute particles. The system coats the tool/workpiece interface with a consistent, thin layer of lubricant to keep it running cool. read more
uni-MAX® Coolubricator System [visit page] — Whether you are cutting metals, woods or plastics, this variable-rate system delivers precise, continuous lubrication and savings with three easy adjustments..
uni-MAX® Coolubricator Jr. [visit page] — This portable system lets you take all the benefits of operating the stationary uni-MAX Coolubricator from machine to machine.
uni-MAX® Single Line System [visit page] — This compact, economical system applies almost any viscosity of lubricant to a single machining or cutting line.
uni-MAX® Coolubricator with Three-Outlet BAT Nozzle [visit page] — Outfit or retrofit your band or circular saws with this positive injection lubrication system.
Intermittent external spray lubrication [visit page] — Gain complete control of overspray so your work environment stays cleaner. An air metering screw determines the precise density and distance of the spray for this completely self-contained, positive displacement spray system. read more
uni-MAX® Serv-O-Spray Systems [visit page] — Get complete control over the density, distance and coverage of your lubricant spray. Multiple nozzle designs let you intermittently lubricate several external points simultaneously.
Saw lubrication with three-outlet BAT nozzle [visit page] — Outfit or retrofit your band or circular saws with this positive injection lubrication system.
Thru-the-Tool® internal coolant routing [visit page] — You can't beat the effectiveness and cost-efficiencies of applying coolants and lubricants through the tool/part interface. With UNIST's lubrication expertise, you can convert any turning machine to MQL operation using our Thru-the-Tool holder outlets and/or external nozzles. read more
Tornado System [visit page] — This unique, high-velocity system permits nearly unrestricted air flow and minimum pressure drop as it lubricates fixed machine cutting tools.
Whirlwind Spindle Coolant/Lubricant Spray System [visit page]— Designed for all makes and models of vertical and horizontal computer-controlled machining centers, this system also works on some stand-alone machines. The Whirlwind reduces heat generation, but it also absorbs heat and transfers heat out of the generated area so your work interfaces run cooler.
Mini-Piggyback System [visit page] — Use this lightweight, portable system to lubricate your pneumatic hand tools. It's 100% pneumatic so no need for electrical connections.
Typhoon System [visit page] — This portable unit provides instant on/off lubrication for air cutting tools.
Tube Lubrication Systems — Whether you are fabricating tubes or lubricating tube forming eqiupment, UNIST offers clean, easy-to-use systems that consistently prevent friction build-up. read more
Tube Fabrication Lubrication System [download pdf] — Use this low-maintenance uni-MAX lubrication system to eliminate the mess and waste of costly flood coolants. UNIST will design a system that precisely and consistently lubricates your tube fabricating tools.
Tube Forming Lubrication System [download pdf ]— This positive lubricant injection system lets you target a combination of air and oil or oil where you want to prevent friction on your tube forming equipment. The fully adjustable outlets target one to 12 lube points.
Parts, Accessories and Fluid Supplies [visit page] — UNIST is your source for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) replacement parts and components for your lubrication systems. We ship most orders within 24 hours of receipt. read more
Spray Nozzles [visit page] — Choose from semi-rigid copper, flexible steel, flexible plastic and articulated nozzle arm models for your MQL system application.
Valves [visit page] — Find the manual, air pilot and solenoid valve system you need for your machining and cutting lubrication systems.
Custom Configurations [visit page] — Here's how to design your own MQL system to fit your specific application needs.
Reservoirs, Tanks/Central Fluid Supply [visit page] — Full range of containers to keep a steady supply of lubricants and coolants flowing to your MQL system.
Pressurized Systems (LVLP) [visit page] — From the very beginning of our company, we’ve known that mist cooling presents some real advantages in machining operations, especially with operations using higher tool RPS or rapid stock feeding. These low volume/low pressure (LVLP) systems eliminate the mess and quality issues of oil-soaked chips. read more
uni-MIST System [visit page] — Configure this portable, pressurized system to reduce fogging and overspray problems for your easiest to most challenging lubrication applications.

The best lubrication results occur when the liquid and air mix just before application. UNIST's patented co-axial nozzles keep the liquid and air separate until they meet in the nozzle tip. This allows longer lengths of supply tubing so you can reach any lubrication point without compromising lubricant atomization and distribution.
