SCOPE
of Micro-Fluidization
|
March 2008
|
|
|
Welcome to our new subscribers! Micro-Mail SCOPE
is our news and application e-mail which reports
the broad "Scope" of possibilities for Micro-
Fluidization.
UNIST kicks off April on the road. During the first week
of the month, we will exhibit in Birmingham, AL at
Metalform 2008, and in Los Angeles, CA at WESTEC
2008. If you plan on attending, it would be a good time
for us to have a conversation. Bring us your
lubrication problems - or ideas, and let us help you
develop a solution that makes sense.
We never see too much of our friends and customers.
Stop in our booth to say hello. We'd love to hear how
we have helped you - or discuss how we can.

Cordially, Larry

Saw "Coolubricating"
Increases Blade Life, Deals with Rust, Eliminates Mess
Bear Metal Works of Buffalo, NY says the more they
cut, the better product they produce, and the better off
their customers are with quality and cost savings
passed on as a result of more efficient sawing
operations. Although it required a little fine tuning after
the startup, Bear Metal Works usage of UNIST's saw
lubrication system has exceeded expectations.

The Near Dry Sawing Advantage
Fabricating & Metalworking Magazine - April 2007
Picture a structural fab shop's typical band saw cutting
I-beams, with fluid flooding the work zone. Of course,
this makes cleanup time-consuming, with metal chips
and sludge gathering at the end of the beam channel,
which effectively becomes a riverbed dammed up at
the end with a pile of rags, or with a carefully
positioned bucket to catch the flow. The disposal
costs continue to rise, along with associated handling
costs. It all seems par for the course.
Or is it?
