SCOPE
of Micro-Fluidization

Welcome to our new subscribers! Micro-Mail SCOPE
is our news and application e-mail which reports
the broad "Scope" of possibilities for Micro-
Fluidization.
The trend is growing to find ways to lubricate well
using less lubricant. UNIST, Inc. is helping
companies to successfully reduce consumption and
eliminate costly excess fluid considerations such as
handling, disposal, housekeeping, and recycling - to
name a few.
We would love the opportunity to assist you with
evaluating your existing lubrication processes and
showing you the benefits of precise lubrication.

Cordially, Larry

Programmable Lubricant Accelerates Stamper's Die Changes
Stamping Journal Features UNIST Spray Lubrication for Metalforming
Red Rock Stamping, Chandler, AZ, airbag and
seatbelt components manufacturer, looked for ways to
improve its die change processes to handle the
anticipated business volume increases. A lot of
cleanup had been required around the machines as a
result of the lubrication system. By installing a new
fluid application system by UNIST, the stamper gained
more control over the spray volumes and locations
and reduced die change times. Fluid disposal was
eliminated as well., featuring spray lubrication for
metalforming.

Near Dry Machining - A Summary
SME Metalworking Fluids Blog
In today's competitive manufacturing landscape, no
costs can be ignored. One of the leading sources of
low-hanging fruit in plants where machining
operations are performed is the cost related to use,
maintenance and disposal of cutting fluids. Many plant
managers know of the non-value added costs
associated with flood coolants - part cleaning,
frequent floor cleaning, absorbent mats, coolant
additives such as biocides, chip cleaning, etc. The
disposal of the cleaning fluids coolant can be
extremely expensive in some states. The expertise
and plant infrastructure is typically a significant portion
of a plant's total overhead costs. What if none of this
was necessary?
