Drain plug on pump is stripped out.

The required repair depends on which component is damaged.

• If the threads on the brass drain plug are stripped, the repair may be as simple as replacing the drain plug with Part No. 6134, which includes a new drain plug and nylon washer.
• If the threads in the aluminum pump block are stripped, the pump will likely need to be replaced.
• If the head of the drain plug breaks off due to overtightening and the remaining portion cannot be removed from the pump block, then the pump block will need to be replaced.
