How long will my SPR-2000 or SPR-2000 JR be supported, and what does that mean?
Unist will continue critical support for the SPR-2000 and SPR-2000 JR through December 31, 2027. Beginning January 1, 2028, critical circuit boards for these systems will no longer be available for purchase from Unist.
Until then, Unist will continue providing available service parts and technical assistance. However, the supply of critical electronic components is limited. Purchases of the primary and expansion circuit boards are currently restricted to help preserve the remaining inventory for customers who need them before the end-of-support date. Other components, such as filters and solenoid valves, are not affected by the circuit-board end-of-support announcement.
After December 31, 2027, the end of support does not mean that your SPR-2000 will automatically stop working. It means that Unist will no longer be able to provide the critical circuit boards required to repair certain failures. A circuit-board failure after this date could therefore result in an extended outage that cannot be resolved by installing a replacement SPR-2000 board.
For this reason, Unist recommends planning an upgrade before the end of 2027, particularly for applications where an unexpected lubrication-system outage could interrupt production.
