Can a spray system have both CLB and SOS style outputs?
Typically, a system will be configured so all the outputs are Coolubricator™style or all Serv-O-Spray™style. The biggest difference between the two systems is the Coolubricator™has more of a continuous spray output while the Serv-O-Spray™has more of a pulsed output. For more information on the differences between the two systems please see “What is the difference between a Coolubricator™and Serv-O-Spray™system?”
There are instances when it can be beneficial to have two different types of outputs in the same system. Perhaps one system is used to apply lubricant to different types of operations. It is possible to combine the two different style outputs in one system. The pump stack will have to be configured to allow for this. The controls for the different outputs may also require more thought as the different style outputs will likely require different valves to control them. For instance, one solenoid valve may be required to control a Coolubricator™output and a separate valve may be needed to control a Serv-O-Spray™output.
