How do I wire my solenoid valve?

2021-07-23

The electric solenoid valves installed on Coolubricator Serv-O-Spray and single line system are available in a variety of voltages to accommodate many different requirements. Voltages commonly available are 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC,. 110VAC, and 220VAC (note: not all valve configurations are available in all voltages listed). Most electric solenoid valves are supplied with the appropriate connector to allow for easy wiring of the valve to your controls. If a connector was not supplied with the valve then the correct one will need to be sourced (typical valves require a DIN 43650 valve connector). Wiring for the valves is simple and can be divided into VDC and VAC. Follow the diagrams shown below to properly wire your valve. Figure A applies to VAC valves and Figure B should be used for VDC valves.
