Pulse generator does not adjust.

2021-03-02

The pulse generator (PG) used on some Unist systems uses an adjustable orifice to regulate air flow through a port to control the cycle rate of pumps. The PG is adjustable from approximately 0-200 cycles per minute. The adjustment knob or shaft can be turned clockwise (increase cycle rate) or counterclockwise (decrease cycle rate). The knob can be turned an infinite number of times, but it only has 360 degrees of adjustment. In other words, if the PG starts at a set point and is rotated 360 degrees it will have gone through its full range of adjustment and return to its original setting.

The PG does require a minimum of 60 psi (80-100 psi recommended) for proper operation.

The PG requires clean and dry air. Some fluids, including oils, can damage internal components of the PG and cause it to become inoperable.
