How do I wire my SPR-2000 controller?

2021-02-16

There are several connections that need to be made when wiring an SPR-2000 system. At a minimum, supply power and an input signal need to be connected when installing a new system. Depending on the options purchased with the system, there may be several other connections to make.

Watch the linked video for what connections need to be made to the SPR-2000 circuit board, and where the connections need to be made. While the video shows the SPR-2000 controller, it can also be used as a reference when wiring an SPR-2000JR controller.

If desired, use the list below to quickly access information on the types of connections:

  • System Power connection starts 0:20 into the video
  • ntrol Input connections starts 1:35 into the video
  • Alarm Input connections starts 6:00 into the video
  • Flow Sensing connections starts 7:06 into the video
  • Input Monitoring Signal connections starts 7:52 into the video
  • Outputs connections starts 8:16 into the video
  • Alarm Relay connections starts 9:43 into the video
  • Press Control Interface connections starts 10:35 into the video

Also refer to the wiring diagrams below for the location of the connections on the circuit boards.
