SmartFlow® screen out of calibration or bad calibration.

2023-02-16

It is possible to inadvertently calibrate a SmartFlow®screen so all of the push buttons are very difficult to find, all compressed into a very small square on the screen, or partially off the screen. To help prevent this, all SmartFlows with firmware 2.2.0 and greater for roller systems and 1.1.0 and greater for TSLsystems only allow the screen to be calibrated within the first 15 seconds of powering the system up.

The SmartFlow®screen can only be calibrated on the home screen by firmly pressing and holding on a blank area of the screen for 10-20 seconds. If the system was poorly calibrated and was then changed to another screen it can be very difficult to find the button locations to get back to the home screen to recalibrate the screen.

To get back to the home screen, simply power the system down and power the system back up. When the system powers back up it should be on the home screen. Once on the home screen follow the regular calibration procedure by firmly pressing and holding on the screen for 10-20 seconds where a button is not located until the screen calibration prompt comes up. If the calibration prompt does not come up you may be inadvertently pressing a button. Move to another area of the screen and retry.

Once the screen calibration prompt comes up, calibrate the screen as you normally would to restore the proper screen and button location.
