Job Basics

The Senior Accounting Specialist will perform a full range of accounting responsibilities, specializing in Accounts Receivable. Functions include reviewing order holds, performing credit checks, generating invoices, depositing cash receipts, and following up on past due accounts. Additional support to Accounts Payable, as necessary. Special projects may also be assigned by the Controller or COO.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Associate Degree in Accounting
  • Two or more years combined accounts receivable and accounts payable experience, manufacturing and inventory experience a plus
  • Expertise in MS Excel, MS Word, and Outlook required. Experience in Epicor or other ERP a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and eager to problem solve
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and time manage workload, as well as adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from supervisor
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Evidence of being a team player and supportive co-worker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
