Unist is looking for a Buyer II to join our team and purchase parts needed to build fluid application systems. Our systems are built to order with a supply chain that spans the world. Procurement categories incorporate a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical parts built to the specifications of each customer’s order.
What would you do?
The Buyer II plays an important role with the advancement of Unist’s procurement and strategic sourcing initiatives. The position negotiates with vendors for the purchase of materials, supplies and services used by Unist. A Buyer II actively leverages their inventory management experience to maintain inventory levels, identify inventory shortages and develop solutions to serve our internal and external customers.
Do you have what it takes? You must be/have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or similar field.
- 3 or more years prior experience in purchasing and strategic sourcing.
- Prior experience executing MRP and other procurement transactions using ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports and/or similar data analytics tools and dashboards.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
