We are looking for an Assembly Technician I to join our manufacturing team and help us build fluid application systems for customers around the globe. Our clean, modern, and air-conditioned shop provides an excellent work environment with company-supplied tools. This is a flexible first shift position with significant independence and responsibility.
What would you do?
An Assembly Technician I is part of a team that is responsible for supplying both internal and external customers with the correct parts and sub-assemblies. For external customers, this involves picking and checking parts orders and ensuring customers receive the proper items. For internal customers, this means supplying the system build team by building and stocking small pumps, air cylinders, valves, and other mechanical assemblies. These stock jobs of 10-200 pieces are typically unsupervised, so an Assembly Technician I must be self-motivated, organized, and independent. Maintaining a clean, neat and well-organized work area is critical.
Do you have what it takes? You must be/have:
- Comfortable with a variety of mechanical hand tools
- Adept using an iPad, including order fulfillment apps and email
- Motivated to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standard
- A proven ability to think critically and recognize/solve problems when given the appropriate tools
- Able to follow digital work instructions and understand complex technical drawings
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and have excellent manual dexterity and vision
- Minimum of a High School GED
