“MicroTrace has significantly reduced the residual fluid left on our parts, drastically improving our downstream processing. We typically in-die tap 12 – 16 ga. cold roll and galvanized steel with #8-32 to #12-24 sized taps. In a given week we can tap up to 30,000 parts. Our current lubrication was leaving too much fluid on the parts – requiring extra post-process cleaning. With MicroTrace we are achieving the same tool life, using the same amount of fluid, and have considerably reduced necessary cleaning.”
