“In my experience, Unist has worked very well machining low-carbon 1215 steel and 6061 aluminum, while helping reduce some of the challenges associated with flood coolants. I think many job shops overlook the benefits of MQL machining. In many cases, I don't have to wash parts after machining and can simply blow them off and move on to assembly and final packaging.
