Pretty amazing on how little oil it used and clean it was

We replaced fab shops bandsaw with a CNC one and it had a Unist system one it. We thought it would be a joke but it was pretty amazing with how little oil it used and clean it was. Plus cuts and blade life were better. We converted several of the other older saws over to them and got rid of the coolant tanks and systems.

Easy to move around the shop!

Works very well easy to move from machine to machine if necessary the magnets make it very easy to attach. Cutting fluids work very well.

No more stinky coolant!

The coolant tanks go rancid because they don't get used enough and make the shop stinky, sticky, and humid! Running 12 hours — the lube was excellent, the chips evacuated good, and the finish was excellent. I was impressed with the unist system and lube!

Machine integration is easy

We will be adding MQL to all our machines

Specializing in the overhaul and repair of Sikorsky helicopters, tight tolerance machining and surface finish is a must. The Unist MQL system is helping in this and eliminating the need for flood coolant.

Great product highly recommended to every machine shop

We have the integrated units on 5 cnc's mills, 5 metal saws and 2 extrusion production saws also use manual ones on a couple other mills. They improve our run time vs coolant on alot of jobs and less mess.

These units have helped us increase our tool life on our Spring Generator machines by up to 60%. They have greatly reduced the heat build up in the forming process of our springs and have allowed us to reduce the number of tool changes on a run, which has allowed us to reduce our cost.

We have less run out of lubricant on the finished product and no overspray, providing for a much cleaner environment. After changing from flood coolant to a Unist Coolubricator and Coolube 2210AL lubricant on our Brother TC-32A, we were able to increase our effective tap life from 450 pieces per tap to 1500 pieces per tap.

We are getting excellent tap life with this system

The parts were much cleaner and we found that we were using much less lubricant and the taps were lasting longer. We were also able to increase our production by eliminating the need to drain the parts before packing. We updated our second tapper in February of 2000 with the same results as the first one.
